The European Commission has selected 47 strategic projects across 13 member states to strengthen the EU’s self-sufficiency, a powerful move that underscores the growing urgency for local exploration.
At Kingsrose, we’re proud to be running one of the largest early-stage exploration programs in the EU, focused on copper, nickel, and PGMs. These metals are crucial for Europe’s clean energy transition and defence resilience. As the EU sets out to mine 10%, process 40%, and recycle 25% of its raw materials by 2030, exploration-led projects like ours will play a key role in identifying the resources that future industries will depend on.
